He grins as he watches her with his arms folded, looking confident that she'll love it. Of course she will, he made it just for her. They do say that hand-made gifts are the best.

When she pounces him, he laughs, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her back. "You're welcome. Happy birthday, baby."

Of course she's not going to brag about it. It's not like it happens to be better than an iPhone or anything...

He laughs softly. "You might have, but for sure you have now. You're welcome."

He grins and kisses her back. Oh, he gets it. She's very expressive after all. But it's okay if she wants to continue to show him.

"Yeah, so, I didn't like write this down, I'm just telling you. You're probably doing family stuff and I don't want to invade on that, at least not at first, but I will take you out to dinner anywhere you want to go. And I mean anywhere."

"Well I would, but it wouldn't just be a day trip, I mean that would be lame." He smirked a little and kissed her again. "I'm saving the stuff across the ocean for another time, babe."

"Yeah, you really would. It's Rome after all. I mean I'm cool with spontaneous trips, but usually longer than a day." He grinned back at her. "Sushi... hm. I've got a place in mind."
