[Despite being on her way to her first day of work, Rena, in her personal waitress uniform, is distracted by the birds and is torn between not wanting to bother them, needing to go to work, and wanting to take them home; so, instead, she's standing outside the café staring at the birds.]

[Tear happened to notice Rena paused outside, looking indecisive. She strode over to the front door and opened it, peering out.]

Oh, so you're the new waitress that was hired, Rena? We'll be opening in 38 minutes.

[She follows the shorter girl's gaze towards where the birds are busily fluttering about. She tries to keep her "cute mode" down to a minimal blush.]

They... they're quite adorable, aren't they? I think the eggs will hatch in a few days, since the parents seem more anxious than usual.

[Wiggles around while watching the birds.]

Haaaaaaaaaaau~! ♥ They're so cuuuuute! Aiiiiiiie! I want to take them home~

Okay. I just wanted to let you know. [She looks Rena over, blushing slightly at her somewhat revealing uniform. How can Rena wear that? It shows too much skin. Tear does not understand.]

U-um... did the manager ask you to wear that? It's a little... um...

[Is distracted by her wiggling around "hauuu"-ing at the birds. Uh oh, time to protect cute things!! But... they're cute, so she wants to go into fangirl mode. Resist, Tear, resist darnit!]

Y-yess...!!! They're really quite cuu--- hey wait!?! Rena, you can't just take them home!! The eggs are about to hatch! If you disturb them, they won't be able to keep the eggs warm and the chicks will die! You don't want that to happen do you? Come on, now. Wait until the chicks have gotten a little bigger before you get too close to them.

Sorry, but you'll have to settle for watching from afar...

I won't touch the birds. They're just so cute, I get the urge to take them home! Rena really loves cute things, really! Haaau~

[She sighs and walks away from the birdies and into the restaurant, but keeps her eyes on them the entire time.]

Is Rena's uniform bad? I had it with me when I came here, so I thought I'd wear it...

I-I guess that's understandable... You admit it so easily... I... like... cute things too. Really.

[Tear is embarrassed at admitting this. Yes. Isn't that just a little pathetic?]

[She closes the door behind them and follows Rena into the restaurant.]

N-no... it's not bad or anything. I was just a little surprised, that's all. It doesn't bother you to wear a uniform like that? You know... without sleeves or straps...?

[Looks down at herself and blushes a bit; she squirms a little in an attempt to cover herself more.]

U-Um, well...it's a little embarrassing, but I don't mind, really. Besides, Rena thinks it's a cute outfit. Is it...?

[Yes, she's totally blushing and not quite sure her cuteness fetish should be common knowledge.]

A-actually... You're right. It is a very cute outfit. The colors suit you well. I guess if you can overlook its minor flaws, it allows for good mobility.
