[It was getting a little dark at this hour, but Tear didn't much mind. In fact, sometimes Tear thought she might prefer the blue-tinted night hours over the multi-colored daytime ones. It didn't much matter to her, and with the moon nearly full, there would be ample light to see by once the sun had exited the sky. She had changed out of her uniform

Ah, Tear! *lifts a hand in greeting* I do hope I have not kept you waiting long. ^.^

You seem to be in a good mood.
No, I haven't been outside for very long. I wouldn't have minded anyway, since the weather's so nice these days.
I thought some baskets and a sturdy pair of scissors might make the job easier, so I bought them in the shops.

Ah, that was an excellent idea. ^__^ Shall we be on our way then? There is a grove nearer the lake that seems in especially full bloom.

Sure. I'm ready.
That's a good way of thinking. If those trees are blooming more than the rest, they must be especially healthy, so they'll be even less likely to mind if we borrow some of their flowers.
[Tear gathered up her belongings, which were not at all heavy, and followed after Fay.]
By the way, and someone requested that I ask, I was wondering what ever became of the picnic? I told an aquaintance about it, and he seemed thrilled at the idea.
[Tear paused for a moment, then added.] If you don't mind, that is. I know you said the more the merrier, but...

Hmm, I am afraid I got quite side-tracked, first with the weather, then with the shrine-building, then with the trial. Sakura-chan, she wants to help with the cooking, she was busy with school for a time as well. But, I think now that things have calmed down a little, now would be a good time to hold it. Especially since the cherry blossoms seem to be waiting for it!

Speaking of which, another idea for attracting customers occured to me, if you would like to hear it.
I believe the "Sakura-chan" I mentioned is the little one you probably met. XD She is the younger of the three.

I suppose this is true, but I'm not exactly the type one would confide in. It's hard to explain, but I get the feeling that I was alone a lot. My social skills are rather rusty, and even the manager has complained that I don't smile enough. I know this because I've been watching the people that come in and how they interract with one another. There's not much else to do between one order and the next, after all.
In that respect, though, I can see your point. I can probably learn a lot from my customers.
That's probably right. She couldn't have been very old and she mentioned something about tarot cards. We were worried they might attract... ghosts.
Another idea. [Glances up at him curiously.] ...what is it?

As for the idea, I was thinking that perhaps you could research foods from the many different cultures here. Interview people about the food from their worlds to see if it would be possible to come up with an approximation. If pulled off correctly, you could have nostalgic customers flocking to the business!
And I did hear about that! Could it be that you are afraid of ghosts, Tear? XD
(( OOC: "No reason to force a smile," Fay you hypocrite-only-you-don't-remember-it-yet. XD ))

Ah... well. There's nothing particularly special about it. I smile when I feel like it, and refrain from doing so when I don't. He never mentioned it as a job requirement.
[She gives a little shrug.]
That is an interesting idea, although it will call for quite a bit of work and probably some cooking on my part - I can't exactly bother the manager to continuously experiment with dishes until they're perfect. I'm not really sure of the result, but I might be able to manage something... But yes, it's a good idea. I can't speak for everyone, and I can't even remember any foods from my world, but if a restaurant was offering 'tastes from home', I'd try it once at least.
((OOC: Dude we need a Najika from Kitchen Princess. She'd be perfect at that. XD She has an excellent sense of taste and can recreate dishes she's only eaten once. It's great. XDDD))

D-don't be ridiculous!
I'M NOT AFRAID OF THEM!

....
....maybe a little.
[She admits this sheepishly, then seeks to change the subject. She motions awkwardly towards a grouping of trees.]
...are those the trees you were mentioning earlier?

As for the cooking, I would be willing to assist, if you would like. I could probably make an attempt at a dish a day or something along those lines. I think you should definitely start asking people. ^.^
*doesn't laugh at Tear's little ghost problem, but does smile sincerely* You are really quite adorable, Tear!
(( OOC: The amnesia makes the hypocrisy hilarious. XD And damn, that character sounds AWESOME. XDDDDD ))

[She smiled weakly at his offer.] Fay, if you assist me and who knows how many other people, when do you ever find time for yourself? People might start taking advantage of your kindness.
But yes, I guess I'll have to start asking around. Flonne and Aya visit sometimes, so perhaps I should start by asking one of them.
...
...eh? [She brainbroke.]

*and now he does chuckle quite thoroughly* This place really is full of cute people who just keep getting cuter! XD

All right. If you insist.
...eh...?? Well, yes, I suppose there are a lot of cute people here... like Mokona and Arietta.
[She turns her attention to the trees.]
