Magic Island was fantastic! Not $153 worth of fantastic, but pretty fantastic.
And I know you all hate Joel, but if you would have been the princess on that date last night and been treated like I was, you would have at least liked him last night.
But then, at dinner, he told me that he made a promisory statement to the Marines last week. He is missing school to take a 10 hour physical on Tuesday, he takes the ASVAB Monday which determines what job he does in the Marines, and he signs after the physical.
And he also informed me that there are 4 places he could be stationed. And as I hoped for at least one remotely close to Texas...

Wow...I really don't know if this relationship will be able to survive with those choices. But, I have always wanted to go to California and Joel will be graduating from boot camp and there will be a ceremony in San Diego in December of next year and I will be going.
But anwyays, you guys probably don't care...but this is my life and I care and therefore I am posting it. It's your choice to read it or not.
