Gold Pants, 3-D and other Brighton Attractions

I have abandoned my trailer home in Peabody to live in Brighton with some girls and work at the tiniest Barnes and Noble of all time. My roommates include the ever-awesome Kate Christian, everyone’s favorite homemaking lesbian Bethany and Jen who I do not see very often due to her frequent trips to Aruba and her many hours spent trolley ticket selling.

We do many activities together like watching on-demand, boot shopping and midnight weight lifting. Other events we have attended:

A Leslie and the Ly’s Concert. Leslie is either mentally unbalanced or a genius. Or both. She wears tight shiny clothing, thick glasses and gold roller blades. She is not a thin woman. She has a web page of her dressed in a variety of bead-encrusted sweaters. I’m not one to include links in my writing, but I suggest you see for yourself at lesliehall.com.

A gay talent show. Disguised as a burlesque show, this nonsense-fest was attended by Kate, Bethany, Bethany’s feisty girlfriend Sabrina and I. One act was two girls hula hooping in short shorts made of bondage tape. Another was a girl twirling batons in the most intense manner possible. There were also some men dressed as nuns who made jokes and played guitar. They also had a raffle that lasted eight hours.

Dial M for Murder in 3-D, which sounds really cool until you realize the only thing in the film that is 3-D is the lamp. The movie itself was quite enjoyable, but extra dimensions are sadly overrated.

Sometimes you are walking down the street and someone you like runs up behind you with a bag of presents. It’s times like these when you should quit your bellyaching and realize your life is super.
