miss me?

since lj is being retarded and not letting me upload pictures to torture y'all with, I will just ramble for a while.
Sebastian has just started preschool in the last few weeks. So far he is really enjoying it it is at the developmental center in their autistic program since he refuses to speak. I seriously think a fair portion of it is that he's being stubborn. To quote the teacher he occasionally has some "compliance issues"...duh. Everyone who has heard this remark, seems to snicker and say something about him definitely being my child. ::sigh:: In most other aspects he is well above the "normal" curve, so I'm not too worried, it's just vaguely annoying.
Acennan continues to excel at school, he is being so damn grown-up lately that it makes my brain hurt. He has already picked which university he would like to go to based on their programs. He has it exactly planned how long it will take him to complete his studies including a brief sojourn into acting, complete with plans on where he will live, and how he will live. He also wants to spend this thanksgiving at the union gospel mission feeding the homeless, and he has started digging up a fair portion of the backyard with plans for an enormous garden to feed the poor from our harvest...I must have done something right.
Tristan is GINORMOUS! He has already more than doubled his birth weight and is over 27inches tall. He is also one of the sweetest babies I have ever encountered and I truly am not saying this just 'cause he's mine. He has also just broken his first tooth. Unfortunately he also is currently suffering his first illness. :o( We all seem to have variations of the same virus, for me it's my sinuses/ears and I hurt all over. Morg is stuffy and tired. Sebastian has the runny nose of doom with occasional fever, and poor Tristan has hacking death cough, and the only reason I'm awake is so that I can give him his nebulizer treatment on time. Only Acennan has escaped the germy wrath at this point.
The last couple of months have been a bit nuts, between the kids and other family I have been too busy to do anything of interest. I suppose I should ask for good thoughts/prayers/juju etc.. as my step mother-in-law has recently been diagnosed with kidney cancer it is her second bout with the disease and so far all is well, but it still definitely qualifies as nerve wracking.
Anywho, I officially give up on trying to upload pics plus it's time to nebulize my wee little babe, so goodnight.
