Dean decided the easiest place to start looking for warehouses was down by the waterfront. The drive took them through the rest of downtown, coming across St. Mary's River and onto a bit of land disconnected with the rest of the city. "Yeah," Sam said. "Lotta good it does them, I bet." He looked at Dean and caught his eye. "Sure. Places that look empty, or quiet, or generally sketchy."

Dean nodded slowly and fished a pen out of his shirt pocket. "Get writing then Skippy." He ordered with a grin. "Maybe we'll go to a bar after and pick the local's brains for information on any strange crap happening in the last two months."

He tore his eyes from the road and glanced at Sam again. "You sure you don't want to just bust down a church door and make off with some consecration oils?" He asked. "It's beats waiting for tomorrow morning's mail to come in."

Sam took the pen and dug his notebook out of his back pocket. "Dean, I told you. I'm not breaking into a church." He paused, considering. "Not today, anyway. Been there, done that." He chewed the end of the pen as Dean drove. "And we never got Xander drunk the Winchester way."

"Yeah, well...he doesn't seem to be handling the Winchester Way of Hunting." Dean mused as he scanned the buildings closest to the waterfront. He turned left down another road that brought them closer and kept driving east. "I don't think we're getting him out tonight...and to be honest, until we find Cas...I'm not really in the mood to pick up chicks and worship any porcelain gods."

He frowned. "If we go tonight, it's strictly recon."
