tution=loans, loans=money, money=needing a new better paying job
The reality that I need a job that pays much more then Dominos is really setting in. I registered for classes Tuesday morning. I will being going twice a week, Monday and Wednesdays like I do now. I'll be taking History of Cinema, Aesthics of Cinema, Oral Communications, and some Modern Europe History, all of which only meets once a week. My film classes are 3 hours and 20 minutes long.. talk about intense. But seeing the tution cost is scary. Basically round it off to 9,000, uhm yeah, gulp, you really want this Angie..right? Of course I fucking do. So now I'm focusing on finding work this summer thats gonna pay me enough where I can at least pay some of that tution myself rather then take all that out on a loan.
At school they had flyers for Summer Jobs, Make 4,000-6,000 this summer, Save the environment. I went to the website and applyed and maybe just maybe I'll get lucky and they'll call me in for an interview and maybe just maybe they will hire me. And maybe just maybe I'll have a pretty kickass job. Basically what it is is a campaign to save the environment, they hire college kids, and you get to do the following things. Call people to inform them about issues, go door to door to talk about issues, do public speaking, communicate with the evil corporate companies in an attempt to stop them from harming the environment, work with the media. Cool things like that. I'd really love to do this seeing how I'd get to bitch about things I already bitch about, get paid for it, still get to go to downtown Chicago every week, maybe make a difference?, have it look hella good for future things, oh and did I mention get paid? Yeah that would be nice. I have no high hopes. I should hear from them in a week, maybe I'll harass them. I'm not one for luck, but who knows. I could always try again next summer?
