I'm glad your doing good. I'm in the same boat regarding both Live Journal and writing. I definitely need to write more and I'm not sure when I will start blogging regularly again.

There is quite a lot of meaning exploding out of this little story. "Parallel Lives" sums up the significance of freedom better than a 'Braveheart' speech. Great sparkly photo on top, too.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to use flash fiction to make a small story that has punch. I think due to its size, focusing on theme can give it something more, than in will in larger stories.
