Okay, so not really, but I do feel like I've been spending more than usual.
Big purchase #1:
My new computer!!!
I ordered a new Dell just before Christmas, and it arrived shortly after I got back from PA. It's fancy! It came with EVERYTHING... computer, monitor, speakers and subwoofer, keyboard and optical mouse... only the forgot to send the keyboard so I'm still waiting for that to arrive. I'm really gald I got it though. It's fun to have a computer that actually works. I can listen to music and watch DVDs and have multiple windows open without the computer freezing up and all sorts of wonderful things! I don't think my old one could have handled getting me through my Special Ed. course. I feel a lot better knowing I have a computer I can rely on.
Big purchase #2 was a new winter coat. It's not really a big purchase though because someone else is paying me back for the majority of it. While I was babysitting last week the family's dog decided my coat would make a good chew toy. I was not impressed. I only bought it last winter. Fortunately the family said they would pay for me to replace it. The replacement coat cost a little bit more, but I got a good deal and I'm okay with making up the difference. I also bought a new scarf and hat to match. They were on sale too.
