Genesis. The feel of his arms was his only thought, his every need. He'd barely gotten away from that thing. So many horrible things had happened; he was so horrible and there were versions of him that were worse! Versions of him that were like HER. Like the Calamity that fell from the sky. Versions that had become the virus. Had he? He didn't know any longer; he just needed Genesis. If he reached Genesis, it would all be over, wouldn't it?

First, he'd been called a virus and a traitor and a monster by Cloud. Then he was told the other was in love with him, then Cloud had nearly died and Sephiroth had been required to set foot in a hospital to save him. Then the worst had happened. He'd met up with another Sephiroth, one in a red-lined trenchcoat, who had spoken of darkness and tried to take over his mind. He'd panicked, but his alternate was strong and it had taken time to flee. Those tendrils in his mind again; he had to keep himself from screaming, at the thought of them.

Gen. Genesis had to be here! He had to be here, somewhere! Too crazed and broken to realize there were tears streaming from his eyes, he finally found Genesis, clinging to him and burying his face in the nearest available part of him, shaking badly.
