Some general housekeeping, I'm trying out this new photo-uploading software that I recently got. It lets you create albums offline and then upload them straight into a LJ's web-hosting scrapbook that they have with their LJ+ accounts. Basically, those are accounts that give you abit of online storage space (I think its 1 gb) in exchange for letting LJ pimp out your blog with ads.
While this blog isn't an LJ+ account, my art blog (yes it is still alive, but I use it for storage space now) is.
And with that photo-uploading software, I also got an LJ client. So I figured, since I have been making a concerted effort to blog more, keep my mind off of things and also for a means to catharsis, which has been the general purpose of my blog anyway, I decided that I should at least make it easier on myself and maybe a little bit more aesthetic.
The links for both are:
BAM!:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ljkit/ The first link is for the LJ client, and its a .dmg, I am using a Macbook, but they do have a .exe version. Right now, I am really liking the client, I've got it in my dock and I have yet needed to open up my browser, which helps alot.
BOOM!:
http://www.webphotospro.com/articles/preferences-web-galleries/ That second link is for webphoto pro, which is the uploading software I was talking about. I've been trying to get my hands on a copy for awhile, and I just recently found out that they made the program free to use now. There are some things that you got to do, you have to get a license key to unlock the freeware on that client. The keys are readily available on the website blog. Then next thing you need to do is sync your online album to your LJ account. But the awesome thing is that it is also compatible with a whole host of other blogs and they do tumblr, wordpress and I think even facebook. I am not sure but I am guessing so.
So this was for me, this is more or less a test blog entry post, and I thought I'd do a utilitarian one, help out the masses. I needed a break from studying and being a lazy emo scumbag around the house. BE PRODUCTIVE! HOT CHAI!
