Well, work on Friday night was ace. Seriously.
I got paid for getting drunk with the crazy chef for 3 hours. Not bad, aye?
I had to take out about 5 meals all night, so me and Dougie took advantage of the fact that he could get free beer from the beer festival that's going on at the moment. Excellent.
Yesterday I went to the Download festival. My mum got 2 free tickets from work so we went and had a rather good time. Saw Mr. Steve-O and Mr. Chris Pontius on stage, which I was quite happy about as I've been watching them on TV for years hehe. Mr.Pontius disappointed me greatly though... he didn't do anything, he was just being Steve-Os assistant or something? Then I get told by someone that we'd just missed 2 of the people from Dirty Sanchez (they weren't sure which ones). But apparently they'd been hanging out around the Snickers bowl. I nearly cried.
Ummm.. bands... didn't really rate most of them. Iggy Pop was very entertaining, he let loads of people from the crowd onto the stage to dance around. I laughed a lot.
I was very impressed with Linkin Park. Very, very impressed, infact. I want to marry Mr. Shinoda. It was so weird 'cos when they were first big I used to proper love 'em, but I haven't listened to them in ages and never thought I would again. But they were amazing! I have a lot more respect for them again now. Although I still wouldn't consider myself a fan.
I enjoyed this weekend muchly.
