Bagels, Oranges, and Bananas
Saturday... My dad woke me up at like 10:20. I acted like I was still sleeping, and he pulled me half off the bed so that was kinda funny. Then he took a picture of me. Anyway, shortly after noon my parents and I left to go to Meadow Lake. The 3 hours and a bit there... I just listened to music and stuff on my laptop. When we got to Meadow, I watched TV for about 40 minutes or so and then I went to get ready for the dinner and dance that night. It was a benefit for my uncle; he's got cancer. That started at like 5. We showed up shorlty after 5. Lol
So my mom and I walked in and walked around. We looked at the stuff there was for auction/silent auction/ and the draw. Then we walked around and visited with my aunt and cousins. I sat down and Matt came and talked with me. He stayed with me most of the night actually. Lol there was supper first. That was yummy! Lol and really filling. Then there were the auctions and stuff. Some speeches, and yea. Then there was a dance at about 10:30 or so. But by that time I was getting a headache. So we waited until my uncle danced with Lee (there was an auction for my uncle's first dance of the evening. A guy won it and I wanted to see that dance. Haha) and then my dad drove Matt and I back to my grandma's house. Mostly Matt and I just sat in the basement, listening to music on my laptop, and playing games either on my laptop or playing cards. Lol or just sitting and talking. He left at like 2 AM. Lol I went to bed at about 2:30ish.
Sunday... Woke up at about 9-9:30. Wanted to sleep more, but couldn't sleep. So meh. So I got up and packed to go home. Played games for a while, like Gameboy and stuff. Had lunch, and then Matt and his brothers came over and were over until we left Grandma's. So in the van there was me, Grandma, my mom and my dad. My grandma was coming back to Saskatoon with us because she had an appointment to go to the next day. When we were between North Battleford and Cochin, we got a flat tire. There was a spare in the van, but no jack I guess, so my dad called CAA or whatever. They were dispatched at 4:15. They didn't get to us until about 5:15, and they came from like North Battleford so it shouldn't have taken them that long. But yea, so we finally got on our way again. Stopped in North Battleford and had KFC for supper. We finally got home at like 8.
Monday... We did a chocolate ball guess. Lol that was neat. I didn't win though :( In second, we had a speaker. It was actaully pretty interesting. Lol he was talking about an arts school in Vancouver. In third, we started our veritas groups. Then we were talking about the elements or critical thinking. At lunch, there was Voices and Choices. That went until about 12:45, and then I hung with Jaz and Adam for the rest of lunch. In fourth, I think we learned measuring stuff. And fifth was just math. Lol that night there was yoga, and I was quite proud of myself by the end of the class. I did pretty much everything that Danny did. Yay! Lol some I had trouble with, but yea. After yoga, my mom and I went to Superstore to buy bagels, oranges, and bananas. Thus, Bob. Lol it was kinda funny. When we got home I was like, "Dad, mom went to Superstore to meet Bob." Dad: "Bob who?" Me: "Bagels, oranges, and bananas. Bob." My dad started laughing. Lol
Tuesday... In first, we went to the library and watched some DVD about high school and the change that everyone goes through in high school. In second, we worked on the definitions that we got last week. In third, we worked more on the elements of critical thinking. At lunch, I thought there was Sign. Parr didn't show up, so I hung out with Ashley and Breanna. In fourth, we did a lab. We made bannok (spelling?). And fifth was just math. There was an open-book quiz, but I didn't really use my notes. And so I knew I failed it. Ah well. Well, it wasn't ah well then. I was in a pretty bad mood after that. Until I'd been on the bus for a bit, listening to the radio and kinda singing along. Lol When Orlene turned onto my block after school, I saw Heather. I waved at her, and she walked back to my house. I let her in, and she helped me with my math from about 4 to about 5. Later that evening, I called Claire. Her and I talked for a bit. Then a little while later, Andrew called. So it was cool.
Today... In first, we worked on yesterday's assignment; top 10 reasons we went to Bedford. In second, we started an assignment in which we have to find a fashion trend article. In third, we did more elements of critical thinking. Lunch... I went to chess. Played a game against Tom, and I was winning. Then I did a stupid move, and then he did, and I did, and he did. Lol it was kinda funny. But I lost. In fourth, there was the same speaker that was in Clothing on Monday. And math was just math.
