I love international students
So last night was really nice. We went to an International Student Night held at this pub (The Skeff=Skeffington Arms). At first it was just awkward turtle, standing with the Americans I knew, but then we mingled, and met some really nice people. There was Lea, Theo, and Yaonn from France, Tom from Poland, and Lucan from England. Or something like that. I spent a lot of time gesticulating wildly to Yaonn because his English wasn't the best and my French is nonexistant. I had a nice time.
Then today I went shopping for a few things (i.e. bagels so I don't starve for breakfast tomorrow). I was walking up the stairs....into the apartment...and....slam!!!!! I smashed my knee into the doorframe so hard, I thought I was going to puke. It still hurts like hell 2 hours later. Not my smartest moment.
