I just wanted to let everyone know that we are alive, and well, if not exactly sane. Tak and I have moved into an apartment, but getting the cable company out here  has been a very slow process. It's likely to be a couple more weeks before we're online with any regularity. Sorry we haven't been able to respond to anyone's emails. Hopefully this'll

We get rain, but NOT like that, so you know you're always welcome in NC....though be prepared for freezing rain and/or ice storms in the winter.

I keep threatening to leave Fl. The biggest issue is I'll become a human popsicle if I go somewhere that has snow lol

I know the feeling well!! I'm cold ALL the time. In fact, I'm sitting at work right now with a turtleneck sweater AND wool blazer and I can barely type because my hands are cold. FUCK air conditioning; and cold weather; and snow and all the rest of it! Give me a nice warm bishie kitsune to snuggle up with!

I'm for that!! The Phoenix/Tuscon area is very nice! I went to a Horatio Hornblower gathering there and LOVED the downtown area. In fact, I want to go back sometime and hcolleen said she'd take me to some of the little shops she likes.
