NYC FIELD TRIP: Arriving at the Hotel, Friday Evening

Mar 16, 2007 15:13

The train arrived in Penn Station at about 8:30PM, as on-time as trains can possibly be -- and perhaps, due to a little divine intervention, more on-time than most. Four (or in some cases three) students to a suite, so this time you get your own beds! Each suite has two bedrooms (each with two queen-sized beds) and a living room area. All the suites are on the same hall (including Wilson and Aziraphale's room, so do try to behave yourselves).

Annette was right behind her. "Great, isn't it?" Of course, Annette had been in super duper nice hotel rooms before because well, her parets were wealthy. Still, she was here without her parents and with all her friends and yay!!

Her luggage followed her by way of bellboy and she tipped him generously after he set her bags to the side.

"Tori!" She squeed. "I am so going to love this!"

Tucked beneath the hotel you will discover a pulsating destination that defines the essence of New York City nightlife. From the mind of Rande Gerber, The Whiskey is a 7,500-square foot bar/screening room and the ultimate nightlife experience. Daring and stimulating, The Whiskey features an array of New York's hottest DJs spinning an eclectic mix of lively beats, and a state-of-the-art screening room.

It's called "the city that never sleeps" for a reason. Although most of the traditional tourist attractions are closed at night, there's still plenty to do after dark.

I love NYC, but oddly I can't stay there for more than a few days, because the skyscrapers make me claustrophobic. :/
