Dinner for the Doctor, Friday Evening

Mar 09, 2007 14:41

Wilson hadn't just been banned from the kitchen for Annette's baking lesson. He had, in fact, been banned for the entire day. Any time he came to the door, whether it was to peek in and see what was going on, or when he decided to try and have some lunch, the angel shooed him away. Lunch was brought out on a tray, and plenty of drinks and snacks were made available in other parts of the house, but the kitchen was off-limits.

Aziraphale knew that this was going to cause a lot of curiosity, but he also knew that Wilson would understand that the angel had a project, and would eventually reveal it.

He did just that, finally calling Wilson in after various intriguing smells had been wafting from the kitchen for some time. The small kitchen table was set with good china and candles, Aziraphale deciding to forego the dining room for the more intimate space. And dinner, which he'd prepared entirely himself, was laid out: spring greens and blossoms salad to start with, a loaf of three-seed wheat bread, four cheese and spinach lasagna, and hidden in the freezer for dessert, campari and passionfruit sorbet.

The angel looked terribly pleased with himself.

[ooc: For the fake mate, o' course!]
