After a whole lot of research, Taiki has discovered that there are not only different size helmets but different styles as well. And those styles depend not only on the type of motorcycle being ridden but also on the rider's aesthetic. It's an uneducated gift-giver's worst nightmare.

So, on to Plan B. Taiki digs around until he finds a company that makes custom helmets -- one that has a good reputation with safety ratings as well as customers. All she has to do is go down, get her head measured, pick out what she wants, and then wait for it to be made. Sent to Lisbeth's home address is a gift certificate to a place in New York. There should be enough to cover one fancy-pants uber safe helmet. Included in the small box is a pamphlet on New York State's helmet safety laws so she can be sure that what she's getting is legal (no ulterior motives, SCOUT'S HONOR (he was never a boyscout)). Finally there's a small otter plush toy dressed up in biker gear for her bias' pleasure.

The note:
Happy late birthday. We can still get sushi if you would like.
