This should really ping all of his warning senses. And common sense. However a very convenient basket of eggs in the Loft is very convenient. A purple one is plucked off the top and Taiki snags a napkin, off to find a seat.
...Eventually? There is a very startled psychic starting to rise out of that chair. He grabs onto the edge of the table, trying to keep himself rooted.
