Whether a birthmark, a ring, a bible or a hope chest, show us something that was passed down to you from your family.
I have no way of knowing how old the ring is. Perhaps it was bought by my father, who knows. I am also unsure as to whether it counts as being "passed down" if I just took it. I found it some years ago, before I left for school.
Either way, it belonged to my mother and now it is mine.
