Munday: That Love/Hate Relationship (redo)

I love my character Kayashima Taiki the most; I try very hard to play him correctly and took my time thoroughly developing his background... But my word if I don't want to strangle the bugger every time it comes for me to play with him. It really does take a certain kind of character to bring him out...He is a lurker. He's so introverted that it makes me cry. Every once in a while he'll be in a chatty mood, and frankly it weirds me out: he'll happily reply to people's posts, do silly surveys or memes (though he usually lies in them), impart some sort of random knowledge unto an unsuspecting stranger -And all of this is very superficial.
...But then other times it is like pulling nails to get a peep out of him. He really does need a true extrovert who is very genuine in their emotions; he opens up to them faster and much more easily. Plus, he is much more likely to be truthful with them and go beyond the surface of "what's your favorite color" type conversations.

But I am finding that I like playing Taiki through Shuichi, though that stupid blond is such a Stu. But sometimes it's a welcome break to play with a loud, brash idiot instead of an unnecessarily melancholic introvert. Taiki can be a bit of a downer, admittedly. Shuichi is very close to getting his own journal...The only thing that has stopped me is the fact that they just play together most of the time. Very rarely does Shuichi talk to someone around here without Taiki present. He's a very busy lad.

And Aya takes...patience. I think that once her story is developed she will be fun to play. Hopefully someday soon I will be able to bring her out. She is a good change as well because she is very down to earth and realistic; something that Taiki often needs because he is so wrapped up in his small little world. She's willing to give people the proper kick in the pants that they deserve.

And if Akito ever gets fleshed out, then I'll have a full house: The asshole, the idiot, the cynic, and the introvert.

So I guess, in short, for now I both love and hate Taiki the most. He is very complex where as the others (with the exception of possibly Akito) are more straight-forward. I think he is difficult for me to play because he can be incredibly fake with people (aside from being extremely closed off). It is challenging sometimes to tell if he is being truthful or genuine, or just saying and doing what he thinks others want. The fact that he can read auras and is emphathetic lends greatly to this. It is also hard because he wants friends, but he doesn't want them to know anything about him. Not his past, not his extra senses, and not about his personal life.
>=[ He is a very difficult and fickle little muse who wants everything his way. But I have a great deal of affection for him.
