academic advisors at this school are amazingly daft and inept at what their job descriptions require. i was trying to make an appointment with mine (this is through the college of architecture, naturally, so maybe that has something to do with it), so i send him an email detailing my requirement for an appointment and i give him the time frame of 12 noon to 2:30 EVERY DAY that i am available to meet with him. his reply email is, in its entirety, and i quote, "10:30 tomorrow, March 1." thanks a lot shawn howson, not only have you shown your adeptness at communicating with the student to work with his or her needs (sarcasm), you have also managed to screw me over and make my appointment, no doubt around your schedule, during studio. idiot.
