The Fence...
I have been rehabing the fence for a while now. What has been holding me back is money. I hate spending more than I have to on materials and any time I can get tem on sale... Well that's a happy day. A couple of times a year pickets that are $1.58 a piece are reduced to $1.25 or even lower. 33¢ Is that all? Well considering it takes at least 16 pickets per section and there is 51 sections that's 816 pickets($1289.28 vs $1020.00). That's $269.28 saved. Since I am increasing the rails from 2 to 3 and replacing any ones that are rotted... that's where the savings is going to. Now I have already completed 6 sections on Lyons Side of the house when I moved it leaving 11 more to complete.
