Today has been an interesting day...

Where I had a majority of Last week off due to first being sick, then the Ice Storm and the Power being off... It's weird to be working from home and then the office shutting down at 2:00pm. I too stopped working on their projects and moved on to my own. I actually got a few things done that have been nagging at me. Though I seem to be saying that a lot lately which makes me really get the sense that I haven't done anything I was supposed to or should have done for a while.

For Christmas Rose gave me 2 awesome shirts from Life Is Good. Problem is they were too small for my freakish shoulders and arms. She gave me the exchange label so I could take them to the store at the Perimeter and exchange them. Problem is they closed that store a couple of years ago. So I thought I would call the customer service line and figure the exchange out. Next problem to overcome... Is my fear of talking to people on the phone. Ok that sounds weird I should elaborate. I have a very hard time initiating calls with Strangers to ask for something that I don't know how to ask it. It's stupid I know. I couldn't answer the phones at a Job I had in Tampa because I was rarely in the office but I could answer the phone at Outback because I was there at least 3 times a week hanging with my friends. So those shirts have been on a table in my office since Christmas. Egging me on to make that call. Well, today I made it.

**UPDATE - March 14, 2015**  the shirts are here!  Yellow & orange are short sleeves - Blue and Gray are Long Sleeves!  Love!

I called them and told them I knew it was weird but I was a little scared to talk to them and ask them for help. They were sooooo nice and extremely helpful. They explained how to send the shirts back and how to request what I wanted to exchange them for. I can't believe I waited so long. I thanked them and got to searching for my exchanges. I wrote them up and set them all together so I can take them with me to work tomorrow. I'll drop it off at the UPS place after taking a picture of the shirts and packing slip and smile all the way to work. I will no longer have to trip over them in my office... And I will be able to wear some awesome new T Shirts! Thanks again Rose!

I actually set up a Twitter account as well today. I'm not real happy about it. I still don't understand the appeal. I totally refuse to do instagram - for now. I don't do selfies so what do I need it for. I think this world is waaaaay over documented.

Here's my first tweet -

I've Given in to the Dark Side and joined the Twitter cult. #myfirstTweet- Anne Nordstrom (@Annie_Nord) February 25, 2015

And My Second -

The Good thing about the snow and Freezing rain... It freezes the backyard swamp created from yesterdays supposed to be Snow-pocolypse.- Anne Nordstrom (@Annie_Nord) February 25, 2015

I think I'm done with that for a while. Not overly impressed with everyone's need to get people's attention by to documenting everything and basically saying "Look at me!" or "Look at them!" in sound bites. It's kind of invasive and frankly... annoying.

I spent an inordinant amount of time trying to get my printer to work. I think I need to reboot my PC first before I do any more damage I'll do that before I go to bed.

The Light Bulb in the Garage door opener got changed and I mailed off 35 box tops to Brody! I need to go feed the babies right now so I'm headed upstairs. It will be nice to enjoy the snow rain without the power going off. I hope we get to do it.

While I'm sitting up stairs with the babies so they can eat dinner... I'm going to input a stack of business cards and phone numbers into the IPad. They'll automagically move to the Iphone so I'd rather type on the bigger screen.

What's wild is... I even got work - work done too.

Wow. It's amazing what you can get done when the TV's off.
