For the first Project off the Table I chose the self Stick Tiles. It seems like a simple little job and yes it kind of is. Then again it's a little involved. It entails not only cleaning out under the sink in my bathroom, but the medicine cabinet and my travel kit. Because I always have to raise the difficulty of everything I do.
I noticed on my last trip my travel kit was lacking ... everything. So I left it on my countertop to make sure I didn't forget to fill it before my next trip. And the medicine cabinet... Well as anyone who knows me can tell you, I tend to keep things a little (actually a lot) past their expiration date and it's been a while since I've gone through it. Today was the day.
I really only documented the under sink work. But I did fill my travel kit with new stuff and I threw out a couple of prescriptions, some very old Tylenol - Exp 2009 (2 bottles), Hydrocortisone creme - Exp 2012 and Robitussin - Exp 2011.
Now for the Under Sink Clean Out and Update:
Before: After:
Here is the in-between Before & After's:
I keep all the travel size and extra HBA stuff in the Black plastic drawers. Thing is, I don't travel like I used to and that stuff tends to get pretty old and expired. Everything in the after picture in front of the trash can is headed for the trash. I didn't throw out much, but it was due. I threw out a nair kit that they made me buy when I was on blood thinner... I didn't use it. I'm surprised I didn't return it.
This was why I started with the sticky tiles. Getting 4 things done in about 2 hours was nice. Lessening the load is also nice.
1 project completed
2 additional tasks completed
43 things thrown out
Not a bad start.
