Being a 90%'er. I tend to consider a project done when I get to about 90% completed. Hey that's an A everywhere else. But realistically... It's not quite done. I even know it's not done and I add the tasks needed to complete the project 100% on my list... I move on to the next project, with every intention of coming back, But I rarely do. The guest room Crown molding... took me 6 years to finish it - (caulk and touch up).
Last October I declared this project done
(HERE)... with a list of some stuff I still needed to do. 9 months later, I finally did it. I'm kind of surprised seeing my track record and all. But hey, I did complete it and I hope to sell it - maybe. I'm not sure who would want it. I used to have some really big blowout parties... back in the day. But now not so much. To much going on here at Chez Nord the Herd Hut... and pretty much a lack of Funds curbs the party time. Here are a couple of images of the finished project. It is 100%. I'm sure I could think of more things that I need to do to it, but why make myself even more crazy. Last night I tried to finish the cooler stand. I made an hour long stop at the Lowes for the parts I needed. Came home all jazzed about getting to work... only to realize that ALL the parts I picked up were 1/2 inch to big. I lost my Mind. I had a Samuel L. Jackson Meltdown and pretty much lost all of my religion all over the garage.

But true to form, I ended up playing the glad game and decided that this was a good thing. I now knew exactly what I needed, where it was in the store and it was less expensive. So, on my way home from work I stopped by the Lowes, returned everything and then purchased what I needed...and walked out with $13 dollars in my pocket. Ok... I'm not so mad... As long as this stuff works.
And it did. So to say I'm jazzed is right on. I got something done. I was a 100%'er today.
The Faucet doesn't move. The casters do ... like they are supposed to. I cleaned the inside. The outside is polyurethaned. I'm Happy - It's done.
