Project Garage Clean Out - Day 1...
I mentioned in my earlier post that I was goofing around in the garage - trying to start to clean it up. I always start in the same place: the Work Bench.
1.) So quickly I was able to Put this 13" TV in the GoodWill Pile. DONATE - 1 thing
I was going to mount it in the Garage so I could watch while I was working... Yeah. When I said it Aloud to myself I had the same reaction.
"WHY?"
And yes I did clean up my reaction. I think it was more like "WTF?" or "Are you Kidding Me?" But the one word really says it all. I can list a plethora of reasons why I don't need a TV in the Garage... But I really don't need to do I? I just put it in the pile and moved on to the next trouble spot on the bench.
2.) I have been moving this piece of aluminum all around the garage for the last couple of years. I had gotten it for a Bird Feeder repair. I used it to cover the roof of the feeder and... the feeder is gone now. And so is this metal flashing. I am tired of cutting myself on it. If I need more, I will go buy it. SCRAP PILE - 1 thing
3.) Another Item that's been floating around on the bench for more than 4 years. This camera. I'm thinking I wanted it so I could get waterproof case off and use it for.... yeah... It's another time I said "WHY?" There's about 10 pictures on it I don't even care what's on it. I think there is some pictures from a tubing trip that... frankly I don't want to see the pics. the memories are better! so I just threw it out! TRASH - 1 thing

4.) The more I work at the bench I always find stuff I need to toss. I had been staining the tool box and I looked up at the cubby drawers and see something. It's an entire drawer full of StainGlass Paint. That was from the old window I put in my bathroom. I hung it in front of my big picture window to block people from going blind from seeing me naked in my bathroom. 7 bottles of the stuff... and they were all partial bottles that were hard as a rock. So I tossed them in the can. it's so Crazy... this crap is everywhere. I don't even go out of my to find it and there it is. TRASH - 1 thing - 7 items
5.) The toolbox project... so far has yielded 2 empty quart cans that has been hanging around for at least a minimum of 7 years. I'm using them right now to hold the box up while I Poly it. I will get pics soon. I have one that can hold the space. It's of the wood revitalizer / conditioner. I took 2 cans of stain and combined them into 1. So that is other empty can. I will next be working on the Lucy Memory box. I'm sure I will be using the rest of the stain and Poly on it. TRASH - 1 thing - 2 items
