Yes, I couldn't let a 3 day weekend go by without working on a project... The big difference is that I got this project done.
I CLEANED MY OFFICE!!!!
Which is somethng I've been bitching about doing for way too long.
I didn't have to do a lot of shredding... I've been keeping up with that. But I replaced the 3 levels (9 shelves) of unpainted wood plank shelves with melmine white bull-nosed ones. NO PAINTING INVOLVED. Because we know I just love to paint. Plus I was able to remove the PROJECT TABLE! I can actually get to my white board now.
Woo Hoo!
- a few things need to be done to really count this as completed.
- clean up the bulletin board area under the shelves.
- put the iron on edging on the cut edges of the shelves.
- paint the one shelf that I did not replace.
- trim out the 2 painted shelves that I didn't replace.
- Label the boxes with label maker not the yellow post it notes
There are actually 3 empty boxes up there. And the GGA stuff stacked on the left side is a section that will go away at the end of the year. It's patches / coins / paperwork. My Geocaching stash stuff will hopefully make it's way to the garage. No reason to keep it in here. Though the trinket displays will stay. I would love to - as I empty boxes - replace the space with a displays of collection kind of stuff. You know...to make it a little more ornamental than just functional storage.
For right now, I'm just happy that it's done!
Next Project... The Upstairs front Guest room.
