I really don't know how many DVD's I have. I stopped entering them into my database a couple of years back. Since then I've bought quite a few. What I do know is I am experimenting with a couple of databases - premade - to keep up with my collection of movies that will no longer be in a bookcase ... catagorized & alphabetized. A record of what I have will only be in Itunes. I am looking into some cloud backup options that will help me not lose anything as well. But I do own enough to warrant a database to keep track.
Here is what I do know... I have 310 videos ripped and sitting in Itunes.
- 13 movies are digital downloads (came with DVD or I purchased from Itunes)
- 47 movies Ripped by Leo - they are new to me
- 27 movies Ripped by Leo - that I have the DVD (so I didn't have to rip them)
- 223 movies Ripped by Me
There is a still a long way to go roughly 275 movies and 30 seasons of tv series...
This is not even including all the video tapes that are still upstairs. I have figured a way of dealing with those too. So I have started throwing those out.
Man this project is like the never ending clown car.
