So I've been wondering...

What's next?  Well, until I find a job not any real projects.  I do have a few things lined up with the rest of the scrap wood.  It isn't anything spectacular... Just shelves in closets.  I think there maybe some weeding that needs to get done.  And of course there is always cleaning.

I love my dogs.  But they make pretty much anything difficult to do.  Cleaning... It's dirty before I put away the cleaners.  Construction... Dollie has to be in the middle of it and doesn't like the nail gun.  So it is a pain to get it out.  And there are things I could be doing quickly if she would just not bother me.

But I guess that's my problem and I should just work around it.  And I will.  I'm just looking for excuses right now.

Oh yeah it's time for an update on the repairs...

  • The back door has some surface rust
  • The Ice maker is broken
  • The Fire place screen is all jacked up.
  • The Fire place box is a little cracked and needs to be painted.
  • The Master Toilet needs the guts replaced.
  • The Master Toilet's shut off valve leaks.
  • Kitchen leak - sprayer
  • Clogged shower head
  • The Seal on the bottom of the Kitchen door needs to be replaced.
  • The furnace filter hole isn't big enough for a filter to easily fit in.
  • The deck railings are all warped and wobbles.
  • The Ryobi Flashlight bulb needs to be replaced.
  • The garage door opener (keypad) is jacked up.
  • Driveway Cracks
  • Floating Platform has some wood rot and warp-age.
  • All 3 bathrooms need to be re-caulked
  • The fan in the Guest bath needs some work.
  • Caulking all around the house that was never re-done.
  • The shoe moulding needs to be put on in the kitchen, master and living rooms.
  • The pedestal sink needs to be put in the downstairs bathroom

I've been putting off the ice maker.  I'm not really sure how to take it out of the freezer.  I'm sure I could find the answers on line.  But then I would have to take it gainesville to get it tested.  I think it's going to be expensive.

I did fix the kitchen door.  I managed to hit my thumb really hard with the hammer.  It's now purple and the nail is jacked up.  But the door works like a champ.  $8.00 fix not bad.
I have the part for the toilet.  It's been awfully cold and I hate touching water when it's this cold.  Yeah Yeah... quit being a baby.  I hear ya.

I did fix the hole I made in the garage wall during the door opener fiasco.  And I do have 1 out of 3 baths caulked.  So I am making headway.  I also found some trim in the garage that I can use on the bump out wall.  It was either paint or trim it out.  Well I found the trim, it is the perfect width and it's already painted.  I just need to cut to size and with the nail gun...it will be done lickety split.

So really what I'm trying to do is work myself up into a project completing frenzy again.  It's hard though... but I think I can manage.
