Today it was all about a friend...

I spent today cleaning out Becky's garage.  On sunday Kim and Denise delivered the awesome industrial shelves.  They were a gift from a business that is closing...   They told her I would put them together and today while She and Tommy took Brody to Chemo, I worked on the garage.  I basically tore it apart and rebuilt it from scratch
  • I put the shelves together
  • pulled everything out of the garage
  • swept it  out (I broke her broom so I had to go pick up another)
  • sorted everything into categories - Holiday, Brody's toys, Yard equipment, cleaning stuff, consignment stuff...
  • Moved the shelves into position
  • hung up as much as I could on the wall with the hangers I brought and that she had
  • I did finally hang up her Prince poster so it's the first thing you see when you open the garage.
  • Loaded up the shelves.
The day cost $11 for 2 brooms (1 to replace the one I broke and one for the garage and back patio)

Well that and Gas to get over there.  Not bad.

There is plenty of room for him to run around and play in when he can't go to school or it's raining.

I also dropped off the big honkin' Lazy susan that I used to use for the Big TV.  I was getting rid of it and I would rather it go to someone who can use it then dump it off or throw it away.  Becky and I lifted the TV and put it under it.  Works like a charm!  She's able to use it and it's out of my garage.  Win - Win!

It's the least I can do.  I have the time.  And they could use some assistance.  They have got so much on their plate right now.  And I don't.  So I keep my hands busy and I take care of something on her list.  Another Win-Win.

I love it when a plan comes together.
