Not a whole lot to report...

I came home last night and gathered up information for WakeBoardLanier about the Tread Mill.  Then after popping half a pain pill, I changed my clothes,  Harnessed up Foster and headed out to pick up Jenny and Sam for our walk.  It was a beautiful warm evening with a nice occasional breeze which made the walk even more pleasant.  Because of my arm, Jenny walks Foster and I walk Sam... He's much better behaved on the leash you see.

We made our way around to the back pond to an open field where we let the dogs romp and run.  I went searching for a stick so I could get the dogs to chase each other around... But Sam was able to intice Foster into running and wrestling without any props.  I have to say when they are out there playing...  My heart smiles.  Foster gets such a look of Joy on his face and it's all thanks to Sam.  He has taught Foster it's OK to be a dog and play.  Foster absolutely trusts Sam and that trust translates into confidence which he brings home with him.  He and Dollie are doing much better.  She nuzzles his ear to see if she can get a rise out of him and he is just remains calm.  When Foster is calm, Dollie lets her guard down and turns back into the Sweet Puppy we know and love.

I used to let sam come over and play with all the dogs.  But after Dollie ripped Maggie's ear open last week... I really don't trust Dollie with him.  Sam doesn't have a mean bone in his body and would never know how to deal with Dollie when she snaps.  So when Sam comes over, dollie goes to my room and stays.  Until She calms herself down completely, that's the way it's going to be.

Sorry for the sidetrack there...
After our walk (2 times around - woo hoo), we went to Caprese's for Pizza (me) Spaghetti (Jenny).  The Dog's stayed in the Shade parked car and we ate on the patio right next to them.  The dogs got rolls and Pizza bones so they were happy.  I ate half of my Pizza and I felt bad that Mike didn't join us so I sent the other half home to him.

Foster and I headed home.  After I fed all the dogs, I went downstairs to take care of some administrative stuff.  About 10:00pm... I took the other half of the pain pill and hit the rack.  It was the first night this week I went to bed before midnight.  And boy I slept good.

Once in a while... It's good to just take it easy.  I tend to appreciate the breaks more when I take less of them.

Good thing I did it before this weekend... I have me some plans and I didn't plan very many breaks.

last night, exercising, foster, puppies
