OK, I can't mark it off the list, but I feel pretty good about it...
I decided about 8:00pm to stop fiddle fartin' around and get outside to get something done. I gathered up Dollie and her water bowl ... and headed to the front yard. I tethered her to the 30 foot lead I use for just such occasion. I then got the wheel barrel and clippers from the back yard and made my way to the front planting bed.
Because I live across the street from the Griswald's and Mister Weedy Yard, I have these hideous weeds all over the place that just pop up over night and take over every thing. Not quite Kudzu, but close. It's like Kudzu-lite. They are viney and grow really fast... And I actually hate them. I have already cleaned out this bed in early May. I just haven't been able to pull the trailer out to get a bulk load of mulch from the nursery. So the bed has been taken over by them dirty bastard weeds!
And the Crape Myrtle tree needed trimming.
So I took care of both things and loaded all the clippings and weeds into the wheel barrel. Which got wheeled to the back yard when I filled it up to the brim.
I came in around 9:30. I was having trouble seeing because it was getting pretty dark.
Maybe I'll get up early on Saturday and pick up a load of Mulch and just get that done.
Or not.
