You are Responsible for Your own health.
That sounds so obvious, but too many of us just hand over the reins to Health Care Professionals without hesitation... no questions asked.
Be an active participant in your health care. Question Everything. Understand all. If you don't, make them explain till you do. Things aren't like they were years ago when Doctors knew you from Birth to Earth. They only have the information that you remember to give them. We are all in the habit of diagnosing ourselves and only tell them things that are relevant that diagnosis. We are our own worst enemy.
Let them do their job, but be prepared to say no. If it doesn't make sense, don't do it. Get a second opinion if you have to. But don't just blindly go along.
Some day I may be able to write down what happened with and during Tuesday's procedure, but as of now I really can't. It's a time issue not a content issue.
