Anytime I can spend with Johnnie...
I learn so much from him. What I find pretty funny ( not haha funny ... but Interesting funny) is that we are very much alike. For 2 people who are so different to be so alike is quite interesting in its own right. We are usually going through the same things at the same time. Projects, Ideas, thoughts, interests... it's weird how in sync we are. (Not weird like psycho weird ... but curious tilt your head weird). Here is a really bizarre example...
I watch a lot of TV. Ok, mostly I surf through a lot of TV shows - watch a snippit and then move to the next. I never was a big fan of the whole Sex in the City thing, but I have caught parts of a couple of episodes due to the surfing thing. One Day I'm talking to Johnnie and he starts telling me about some odd conversation he her heard on a TV show a couple days previous. As he was telling the story, It dawned on me it was a conversation from the one Sex and the City episode I had surfed through a couple days previous. I know this, because that happened to be the only scene I watched as I passed through the episode! At first I found the whole thing funny as hell... (Hahaha funny) because Johnnie was watching Sex and The City. But when I thought a little more about it, I found it Funny (not haha) that we would both be watching the same oddball thing at the same time and remember it.
But the longer I know Johnnie, the less I'm surprised when that stuff happens. And it happens all the time. I mean AaWWWWWLLLL the time. Which to tell you the truth, I take comfort in the fact that I'm not the only one going through whatever I'm going through. And I couldn't ask for better company.
I was glad I got to spend time with Johnnie on Saturday. It was definitely the highlight of my weekend.
