2009 Lent Gratitude Journal - Day 31
The Vet has Sunday hours.
You see my babies don't get sick during office hours. It's on the weekend or after hours.
Today it was Lucy. I have been battling her ear issues for the last 2 weeks. Pretty much cleaning them every other day until about tuesday and it seemed to be everyday. Well, last night whilst cleaning them I noticed some blood on the wipes and q-tips. What I could see with flashlight was she had little ulcerations on the inside. But I wasn't going to take any chances and I took her in today.
$90 later and a run-in with the crazy dog trainer lady... She's on her way to recovery.
They said I got her in before it got too bad... I don't even want to know how much worse it get... They also said they wre impressed with how well behaved and trained she was during the whole exam, flushing, cleaning and medicating. I of course beamed with pride. She is a good baby you know.
I'm just glad she's going to be alright and she isn't in any pain.
