The ride home tonight cost me $352.16...

No.  I didn't get a ticket.  I did however hit a curb and destroyed 2 tires.  One completely and the other ... well enough to need 2 new tires.  No I wasn't talking on the phone... Imagine that.  I just caught the curb right by Sharon Park in Forsyth.  Luckily a really nice kid pulled over and insisted on helping me change the tire.  I could have done it.  I have changed many a tire.  But after saying that... I was ever so grateful for this kid.  He was sweet and wouldn't even take money.  He said that "he truly believed in what goes around comes around and he was just doing the right thing."  As we chatted while changing the tire... It turns out his best friends mother works where I work.  and to make things even odder... I knew who he was.  I recalled a couple of stories about him and he was as stunned as I was.

His Parents did a wonderful job on that kid.  What a sweet young man.

Anyhoo... here is the damage.

the big hole is on the front right tire and the bulging bubble tire is on the rear right.

Well, not anymore.  I bought 4 new tires.  Probably not great tires... but certainly better than I had.

I was going to get new tires anyway... but not this way.  And I didnt' get to work on my floor fixing.  But I guess I did get something off the list anyway.
