I changed the battery in my watch. That doesn't sould like a big deal, but because I have lost some of the dexterity in my left hand fingers (mainly my thumb) and my nails make working with anything small really difficult... It was a big deal for me.
I tried to get it fixed at Target, but they wouldn't change the battery. They sold me a new one and sent me along.
Well, I did it. I sat down at the kitchen table last night with all the tools I would need - bright light, teeny tiny screwdriver, reading glasses and tweezers. I worked slowly and methodically. I only lost the watch band spring twice. But with the help of Dollie, I was able to find it both times. Once I dropped it on the floor underneath my chair and the other time it shot across the room. BOINK!
I took the entire watch apart and then put it back together. AND IT WORKED!!! That isn't normal for me. Usually, I make things worse and have to throw what ever I'm working on away.
I don't normally change the battery in my watches. I usually take it to the watch place at the mall - there's always one at all the malls you see. It usually costs about $10.
But this time I did it myself, Now I have a working watch and 6 bucks in my pocket.
