Flat Rock Falls Cache (Traditional Cache) Out today with Johnnie scouting out the Hall county caches and This one was right up our alley. Actually I have wanted to do this cache for a while, but I didn't want to do it alone. Not for any scarey reasons, but more on the line of sharing the experience. Not very often do you find an area like this so close to home and I knew Johnnie would love this hike.
And he did. I did too as a matter of fact. It was a great way to start the day. We did run into a hunter on the way in. He said we didn't have to worry about making so much noise "they are very responsible". I still made a buttload of noise walking around out there. The cache is fine and is still dry. We removed a bottle of bubbles from the cache. This time of year they will freeze, explode and ruin the cache from the inside out. Soooo, I traded for them.
The most remarkable thing about this cache is... I didn't fall. Not once and not in the water. A feat in itself.
Thanks for the cache I loved it.

The Depot Drop (Traditional Cache) Been here once before. Driving through and couldn't pass this little cache up. Johnnie's keen eye found it before I did. He's like that you know. He doesn't even use a GPS.
Thanks for bringing me back to this little spot. I even got to hear a story about Johnnie riding the train through this depot. Kinda cool. #1522

Banks 1 (Traditional Cache) Nice little cache to end the day. Great park. But with all the leaves on the ground, we almost couldn't even find the paved trail. Passed it right by, but found it when we (me and johnnie) regrouped. As we drove in we saw some people playing tennis. Johnnie said he never saw legs that blue before... (it was quite chilly out there today)
Thanks for bringing us here.
