Happy Annie-versary To Meeeeee...
9 years ago today I moved into my apartment in Lawrenceville. 7 month old Lucy and I arrived in Duluth/Lawrenceville around 9:00pm. We stopped by the Chik-fil-a on the way to the apartment (on the corner of sweetwater and pleasant hill). We both had chicken sandwiches and fries. The apartment was left unlocked so I could just go in. We pulled everything in and slept on the floor snuggled together. We had what we needed for the night and were so happy to be out of the car after a 12 hour drive. Lucy ran around the apartment loving the space (1300 sq. ft. and no furniture). It was an incredibly simpler time. I was 80 pounds lighter, carrying no debt, no house to maintain, only one puppy and getting ready to embark on another adventure.
Boy were things different.
