In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale
Another video Game made into a movie. Hmmm. what can I say? Burt Reynolds as the King? I kept waiting for Dom Del Louise to pop out from behind a Pillar and go "Dant Dant Duuuuuuuh! - Captain Chaos!"...
Ok for Real now... Lots of very familar people in this one. Hellboy, Shaggy, The Bandit, a Goodfella, The Transporter, LOTR Dwarf - Gimli, the Terminator 3, Leelee Sobieski and Claire Forlani. Not a bad group of people just some poor casting choices. Just not a hugely strong script. Though I did kinda enjoy it. Not overly deep. Just fantasy fun that's better than reruns. The fight Scenes were cool. I always enjoy a nicely staged fight scene. The dialog was week, but tell me, who watches this type of movie for dialog.
all in all it was not a bad way to kill 90 minutes.
