Words to Live by...

“Simple living frees you to simply live.”

It is what I aspire to do.  The completion of projects and the selling of unnecessary items is the path I have chosen in order to lighten the load to get there.  Once those are done,  I'll come up with something else I'm sure.

I have been slowly getting things done.  The Office is on it's way to getting cleaned up.  The big part is done.  I have even done the hard part of setting up the fish tank ... all I have to do with that is dress it up.
I actually have a list of projects that have to get done and have been started but are sitting uncompleted.
  1. turn media room into workout / dog room
  2. clean garage so I can park both cars in it
  3. install the pedestal sink
  4. turn upstairs room into media room
  5. move TV above fireplace (it's on again)

What I have to do is only work on one thing at a time.  And since I started focussing on one project at a time, things are moving forward.

As for selling unnecessary items, I was able last night to actually start going through a few things in my office last night.  I found a few gadgets that I thought I had to keep because I needed them.  Of course after looking at them I realized I hadn't touched them in years and I don't Need them at all.  I placed them in a bin I set up to house the "Going to sell on E-bay" stuff,  things like cd players, a sport walkman, a 35 mm camera and a bunch of geocoins that are duplicates of stuff I already have in my collection - I can probably get about $15 apiece for them.   This week I set a goal to put the big heavy Mutha Sleeper couch on Craigslist.

Here is the big surprise (to me at least) is... I'm going to sell the Big butt Chair too. (no picture yet)  I hate it why keep it ya know?  I might as well put them up for sale at the same time.

If I can get my ass in gear I will change the vacuum cleaner bag on the 1989 hoover that still works and sell it too.  I did find a home for the desk chair (seen next to big heavy mutha) and the old shredder... Goss.  So I need to get those things to her.

Now that is just a couple of things I looked at and I'm sure I will find more.  Hence the "EBAY" bin.
