I finally signed up for it...
Blockbuster online. Here's what happened. I went to the video store and rented 2 movies. I paid for them and got out to the car and it hit me. $9.00 for 2 movies. You have got to be kidding me. I oculd rent them ON Demad for $3.99 apiece not waste the gas and no late fees. This isn't right.
So I decided to sign up through Mypoints.com, get 1000 points and save a couple bucks. For $20.00 a month I get 3 movies at a time and 5 instore swaps. Not bad. If I just do that - watch those 8 movies... the price per video comes down to $2.5 a piece. I only need to do this for a couple of months. Soon as the weather calms down and I am outside working in the yard in the evenings, I won't need the Videos anymore anyway. It's just to help ween me from the TV shows I have gotten used to watching now.
I have decided to get rid of the HD package I get with Charter. Thats like $15.00 a month I don't need to spend. I have a didgital hd tuner on the TV and I get the free hd channels anyway. Those are the only ones I watch anyway. Plus when I take the cable box off the TV I get free pay per view. How sweet is that?
I had been talking about it for some time and now I finally did it. That's 2 things this week that I get scratched of the to-do list.
