I didn't think I would like it...
But I actually look forward to the daily walks with the dogs. Foster and Dollie just light up when tell them I'm getting my shoes. They bounce around, nudge my arm and run up and down the stairs. They are so happy that the whole experience brightens my day as well.
Now a little bad news in search of a hair-brained Idea... Lucy is gaining weight again. The portions haven't changed, she isn't getting any table food and the treats are the same and at the same time. I think the injections are bulking her up. I did have to give her an extra can of green beans last night because she was still hungry. And she also got me out of bed to give her treats (which I didn't do) in the middle of the night. I've thought about taking her on her own walks in some grassy areas so it wouldn't be as hard on her elbows as cement would be.
I have to figure out a way to help her. The weight will do more damage to her joints than anything else.
