I decided to look back at my lists from over the years and see where I stand. Yes I keep those lists. No I don't know why. Maybe for days like today. I only have lists going back to 2000. I threw out the older ones when I moved into the house. I thought this was a momentous time and that I should start fresh. So Here it goes...
2000 - 308 tasks and projects on it. - 100.00% completed on 4-27-05
2001 - 229 tasks and projects on it - 100.00% completed on 5-19-07
2002 - 608 tasks and projects on it - 99.34% completed on 9-18-07 - 4 items left
2003 - 602 tasks and projects on it - 98.17% completed on 9-18-07 - 11 items left
2004 - 548 tasks and projects on it - 94.34% completed on 9-18-07 - 31 items left
2005 - 516 tasks and projects on it - 87.20% completed on 9-18-07 - 66 items left
2006 - 325 tasks and projects on it - 78.76% completed on 9-18-07 - 69 items left
2007 - 404 tasks and projects on it - 73.26% completed on 9-18-07 - 108 items left
I don't think I'm as bad off as I thought. I did realize around 2005 some big items made it to the list...Like stuff that has to do with the upper deck of the house and rewiring the Landscape trailer....I don't see myself jumping into doing that anytime soon. So Unless I get a New light fixture for the Kitchen, or a passport or Make a headboard real soon, I don't see 2002 changing real soon. And remember I am still adding stuff to 2007, it's basically a moving target.
And that's ok. I just need to see this kind of stuff to realize I'm not that far behind. I stay on top of stuff pretty well. I still need to take those things that haven't been completed and see where tey fit into the 3 goal system.
