Fan repair...
Took only about 3 minutes. It took me more time to reinstall the light kit on the fan than it did to replace the broken part. Cool.
As for the rest of the evening. It was spent dealing with constant (every 10 minutes)pressure applied from across the street to watch American Idol. I hate watching this part of the show. I take no pleasure in, nor do I find it entertaining the fact they humilate people. Sure those people are deluded into thinking they have talent. I blame the touchy feely liberal parents who believe we should nurture our children with the whole "Everyone Should Play" mentality. And that whole "Everyone's a Winner" even if you lose BS. It's just plain mean.
I just curled up with the dogs on the couch and watched stuff. Mostly HGTV stuff. But when the phone would ring, I would switch back to train wreck Idol show to watch for a few minutes. I would resume my other stuff watching as soon as I would hang up.
Nothing else got done.
I'm ok with that.
