An additional thought. Based on my previous post.
I also realize that speeches are made to appeal to the masses and to be as politically correct as possible. No one ever really wants to say there is anything wrong with the GGA and it's ok to go after the so-called troublemakers (I call them purists). So I am fully aware of the context of the speech. I am also aware that it wasn't premeditated. It is what it is, a speech intended to appeal to the voters with the hopes of being elected.
I consider myself somewhat a purist. So yes, I'm lumped in the above statement. The part where I say it is ok to go after the so-called troublemakers...I find it funny. Everyone wags their fingers at us when we go head to head. They talk about their hatred for confrontation and strong opinions. But they are the first ones to watch a heated debate loaded with verbal assaults and check back every 15 minutes or so to see if there are any updates. They are drawn to it like rubberneckers to car wreck. They can't help but watch. I find it incredibly hypo-critical.
