I am going to try and do 30 caches this week. That should hopefully not only put me over 1000 but put me ahead of Maviman and uraca. that would be 2 jumps. Now that just takes into account that they don't go out and cache the living shit ofut of cobb county. But I think Maviman already has. Sooo. Since he is my next target. I think I will hit the northlake mall area and get the mutisms and maybe take a trip over to towncenter and get a bunch there.
What cache should I do for my 1000th??? well, it isn't that important what order I do the caches in. Milestone caches to me are caches I have been wanting to do and I get out there and do them.
Brother Where artthou was one, as well as
Kayak Cache. Neither were spectacular hikes...they were nearly drive-bys. But they meant something to me. Brother...Well, it was dangerous and strenuous. Hell, I bought the freakin' rope for it 4 and a half years ago. And Kayak Cache...It was just a bad experience I had to overcome. Sort of like rites of passage. I have a few caches like that on my list.
- Portland Cave
- Iron Horse
- Starhopping 2
- moolah
- kanati stone caches
That's just 5 on a list of many. But those aren't - for me that is - caches that I can just do on a whim. I have to rearrange "Life" to take a day to do these kinds of caches justice. And I have 5 days to do it. Naaaaah. Not too worried about the milestone cache. THey are all an adventure to me. I may look to do something special, I may not. I just want to get this over.
Take last week. Most people would look at my cache found list and say "Huh, you spent sunday getting cobb county skirt-lifters." And I would say "No...I spent my sunday going to see johnnie, I just happened to get a few caches on the way." It's all in how you look at it.
I had a great day today. I cached in the rain. I was soaked to the skin...And I didn't care. I did 6 caches today and I enjoyed everyone. Heck even the Micro was interesting. The girls are happy I'm home and my laundry is done. Lunch is made for the next week and the car is cleaned out. I'm heading to bed.
Thanks allen and robert. I had fun hanging off the mountain with ya. It kinda felt like those old scenes from Batman (TV Series) when they would walk on the outside of the buildings. HeeHee.
Robert: I didn't fall anymore times the rest of the day and I stopped at the McD's in clarksville. Very Clean Potties. No Poison Ivy there.
