Well no. I probably would try for Buffy's sake. And quite possibly Dawn.
Getting hold of the sign Buffy handed me, I pulled my chellphone out of my pocket. There's no time like the present, isn't that what they say? I've certainly learned that. You never know what happens tomorrow. You might almost die and all your friends might drop you like a stone. Or you might die, trying to safe your sister who shouldn't exist. Like Connor shouldn't exist. I wonder if Dawn and Connor would get along.
Carpe Diem. Cease the day, a very good lesson.
I smiled at Buffy and then walked over to look out over the backyard as some woman on the other side picked up the phone. "Good morning, Madame. This is Wesley Wyndam-Pryce speaking. I'd like to talk about a property of yours..."

"Are you certain that's the right price?" I asked again. The woman on the other side almost seemed to apologize for it being this cheap. Of course my first thought was that it might be haunted. Not an unreasonable thought on a Hellmouth. But whatever was wrong with it, I could handle it. I've been working in this branch long enough. Besides, I've a Slayer on my side. And...uhm...two very powerful witches.
Hanging up the phone after agreeing with her to come by the office later this afternoon, I turned toward Buffy as she bounded down the stairs again. I put the phone back in my pocket and smiled at her. "It's a...uhm...yay. And at a rather cheap price." I frowned at that, looking around again. "I think we may need to look around a bit better, there has to be something wrong with this place."
